Core SWX Helix Max Lithium-Ion Dual-Voltage Batteries
The ARRI Alexa35 is pretty power hungry. First and foremost, it requires 24v power, necessitating an upgrade from the typical 14v gold mount platform. We opted for the dual-voltage Core Helix series, outfitting our A35 with the appropriate battery plate and starting a collection of batteries. The killer feature with these is they will detect what voltage your device needs, so should you so desire, you can power your monitors or other 14v accessories as well. If not, just slap it on the back of the A35 and it sends the proper voltage to the camera, no configuration required.
