Atlas Mercury Anamorphic 1.5x Primes
These are some of the newest entrants in the anamorphic category from manufacturer Atlas Lens Co. Atlas set out to make a modern set of lenses with a vintage aesthetic— highlighting the beautiful imperfections and quirkiness of lenses manufactured decades ago. These have some noticeable distortion on the wide end, but it's not severe. Beautiful, not overly harsh flares, and notable falloff from center are among some of the other characteristics evident with these compact-yet-full-frame-covering primes.
