Cooke Anamorphic/i 1.8x FF+ SF
It's hard to quite put a finger on it, but there's something about these lenses that just makes everything look kinda good. It sounds dumb, but it's true. They make it hard to screw up. Pretty minimal distortion, even at 32mm. Killer skintones, nice sharpness and falloff. Beautiful flares that aren't overbearing. The only thing to watch out for is the size— these suckers range from just over 8 pounds to over 11 pounds, so don't expect to be running and gunning too much.
